About the Role

BBMG is seeking a Creative Director to join us on a 4-6 month contract to help shepherd the creative vision of one of our most exciting projects. Working on a new project that uses inspirational storytelling to create social change, the Creative Director is charged with initiating, supervising and managing a diverse set of creative solutions, from brand identity to content and activation.

The Creative Director works with an extraordinarily talented internal team as well as a bevy of outside resources; supports business planning and pitching; and supervises internal marketing projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Walk lockstep with our strategy lead in delivering world-class work while setting the bar for creativity and innovation at BBMG
  • Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the objectives of the organization and that advance our mission
  • Understand a client challenge and translate it into innovation opportunities and design solutions
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams (designers, strategists, content developers, product experts, etc.) to breakthrough creative solutions
  • Collaborate on creative briefs that tie together great strategy and beautiful design
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions that lead to key brand concepts
  • Deliver quick creative direction on all design media (physical, digital, experiential)
  • Contribute original design work on a wide range of projects
  • Continue to push the boundaries of the agency’s creative function, its approach to sustainable design and its overall aesthetic
  • Explore new and creative ways for brands to exist in the world
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion; including staffing plans, budgets and work-plan
  • Understand new technologies and how they allow for creating and sharing great designs (deep understanding of interactive design and tools is a must)


  • 7-12 years of art direction and design experience in a creative agency environment
  • Proven track-record of working at the intersection of design, engagement and strategy
  • Experience managing consulting engagements and teams
  • Excellence in client interface and customer service
  • An organized and detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with all phases of the design life cycle (strategy, conceptualization, development, budgeting, scheduling, creating proposals, client approvals, resources management; status reporting; deadline tracking; execution; and close-out)
  • Thorough understanding of and experience with digital engagement
  • Experience with social change campaigns and thought leadership a plus
  • Ability to coordinate requests from the various parties involved in projects and communicate needs of the team
  • Business development experience is necessary

BBMG seeks a seasoned manager and brand innovation strategist. A Strategy Director is responsible for leading our talented team by delivering winning strategies that drive impact and inspire action. Successful candidates will demonstrate proven leadership abilities with superior strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills. A strong track record of growing and leading a branding or communications practice is a must.

We are looking for a leader with extensive experience in branding with stellar client service skills. Management experience, strong writing skills in a variety of formats and the ability to facilitate discussions and lead presentations are a must. Candidates must enjoy leading all phases of consulting engagements and implementing brand and innovation initiatives. A deep knowledge of the sustainability, CSR, social purpose arena is paramount (best practices and market trends). Demonstrated ability to help solicit and secure new business is also a requirement.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Oversight

  • Guide and supervise interdisciplinary teams to develop branding, innovation, marketing and communications strategies based on insightful analysis and creative ideas.
  • Lead the selection and curation of game-changing ideas, concept refinement and creative development.
  • Determine priority protocols for key project challenges and supervise teams as appropriate.
  • Mastery of BBMG process and protocols.
  • Identify, cultivate and engage pool of experts to aid with ideation.
  • Pitch and present winning ideas and recommendations to senior client teams.

Client Service

  • Develop relationships with senior client stakeholders to build trust and identify priority strategic goals.
  • Serve as a key client contact with senior client contact, where appropriate.
  • Responsible for delivering great work on time and under budget.

Business Development

  • Contribute to the growth and direction of BBMG’s client base by executing strategic plans to meet revenue targets and increase agency profitability.
  • Cultivate new business relationships and strategically grow existing accounts.
  • Develop new business pitches and proposals.
  • Lead contract agreements and related negotiations.
  • Conduct regular market assessments and stay abreast of key trends and local business opportunities.
  • Develop and present thought leadership pieces on behalf of BBMG (conferences, webinars).

Organizational Development

  • Manage and coach strategy staff and oversee local professional development programs.
  • Own strategic relationships with external partners.
  • Identify opportunities and plan for team growth.
  • Participate in agency senior team and staff meetings, providing clear updates, contributing constructive input and taking ownership of agency planning items as appropriate.


  • 10+ years of management level experience required.
  • 7+ years of direct brand strategy and/or innovation experience required.
  • Strong leadership abilities, business acumen, strategic thinking, partnership identification.
  • The ability to swing between roles of Strategic Creative and the Creative Strategist.
  • Hands-on experience in branding, communications and lead generation at a professional services consultancy are crucial.
  • Superior organizational, communication and analytical skills are a must.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.

BBMG seeks a seasoned strategy consultant to join our New York-based team. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to lead and manage cross-disciplinary teams to deliver key insights and big ideas solving for a client’s strategic challenges. The Senior Strategy Consultant is an expert at managing a client through change and/or implementing bold new ideas.

Successful senior strategists have a clear and demonstrable track record implementing successful brand innovation initiatives and/or integrated marketing campaigns. A senior colleague will continuously elevate BBMG’s strategic process; bring inspiration to the workflow and mentor junior colleagues. Tracks and shares relevant market trends and contributes to BBMG’s thought leadership and marketing initiatives. Senior Consultants also lead organic growth on existing accounts and provide strategic content on pitches and proposals, as necessary.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

 Strategy Development and Oversight

  • Manage relationships with client stakeholders and lead clear definition of client challenge.
  • Lead branding, innovation, marketing and communications strategies based on insightful analysis and innovative ideas.
  • Embody and elevate BBMG process and protocols.

  • 5-7+ years of direct brand brand strategy and/or innovation and strategic communications experience.   • Experience working in a consultancy environment, delighting clients and managing significant integrated strategy and/or innovation engagements.
  • Experience in the application and expression of brand strategies (e.g., naming, corporate identity, packaging, retail, cause marketing, etc.).
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research design and execution.
  • The ability to distill client needs and research findings into actionable brand strategy.
