We build brands for humans

Raphael Bemporad

Founding Partner

“I’m a passionate champion for a new approach to branding that places our humanity at the center. At BBMG, we help clients unlock the human truths in their brands and unleash the humanity in their businesses so they win hand in hand with the humans they serve. We believe the imperative of our generation is to unite the power of business with the meaning and influence of brands to shape our aspirations, behaviors and relationships for a more just and sustainable future. It’s about asking and answering how we can deliver more understanding, meaning and value for consumers, employees, shareholders and society so that we all can thrive together.”

An expert in brand strategy, social innovation, consumer marketing and public affairs, Raphael has designed consumer and nonprofit brands, created national advocacy campaigns, drafted public policy and managed communications for local, state and federal elected officials. His experience is international in scope and diverse across industries. For Raphael, “branding is being.” It’s not just a discipline of strategy and design; it’s the essence of who we are, with the possibility to inspire great transformation for organizations and society. Prior to co-founding BBMG, Raphael served as communications director at Do Something where he oversaw marketing, media relations and cause-related partnerships with Levi Strauss & Co., Kenneth Cole and Rolling Stone. Raphael’s extensive background in political communications began as a press aide to Texas Governor Ann W. Richards. Raphael is an advisory board member for Sustainable Brands, the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business and READ Global.
