Strategic Projects
Most of our projects still fall into this category, strategic engagements that might be categorized as fee-based or retainer-based work. Still, whether it’s a research assignment, a strategy play or a purely creative role, we like to be incentivized to
exceed your expectations. Often we will either put a portion of our fees at risk or collaborate with you on the right back-end compensation to ensure that our work
is really driving shared value.
Innovation Opportunities
By design, sustainable enterprises are more innovation-oriented. Given that we work exclusively at the intersection of branding and sustainability, more and more of our
work revolves around concepting new products, services and experiences or identifying new markets and marketing strategies. We recognize that early-stage companies are often capital constrained, which is why engagements here usually take the form of cash plus equity and/or royalty fees. Every challenge is unique, but we are wholly dedicated to working with entrepreneurs and their venture partners to ensure the project is structured for success.
Social Enterprise
We’ve been strong champions for using sophisticated branding and marketing in the nonprofit arena since the day we founded BBMG. We offer small nonprofits a rate reduction and often take on projects for free just because it’s the right thing to do. We also regularly donate our time and services to support issues, causes and companies we believe in. Most recently we’ve had the privilege of working with Nuru Energy (pioneers of affordable, clean, off-grid lighting for the world’s poor), Madécasse Chocolate (the only chocolate produced bean to bar on the island of Madagascar) and the Brooklyn Community Foundation (creators of the Brooklyn Do Gooder Awards).
At the end of the day, no matter what kind of project we support, we believe in moving the needle and driving social change. After all, that’s why we started BBMG.
